Notes

A rare pamphlet answering Charles Sackville, Duke of Dorset's 'Treatise Concerning Militia' of the previous year, which had argued for a reduction in the size of the army. ESTC locates just four copies in the UK and four in the USA: 2 in the BL, one each in Cambridge and the Rylands, plus the BPL, Huntington, Colorado, and Yale.
