Recent Acquisitions

 We are pleased to announce availability of our List 16: Recent Acquisitions, containing 35 items in a variety of fields, including science & mathematics, travel, literature, Scottish history, and Greek & Latin among others.

Highlights include a scarce 17th-century mathematical tractemploying a precursor to calculus, an ‘immaculate’ Edinburgh edition of Terence in French red morocco, an early edition of John Martin’s illustrations to Paradise Lost, and the scarce first edition of an educational work pseudonymously published by William Godwin.
