Notes

The first McCulloch edition of the Wealth of Nations, 'the most well-known of the early nineteenth century English editions... because McCulloch was a distinguished political economist in his own right... [it] was repeatedly reprinted well into the later nineteenth century' (Tribe), though other editions with less critical apparatus probably outsold it nonetheless. Scarce in original boards.
