Contemporary half blue morocco, blue boards, spine divided by raised bands, lettered in gilt direct, other compartments elaborately tooled in gilt, top edge gilt. A little scratched, a touch of wear to corners. Small white label printed in black with ’32’ to front board


A handsome volume reproducing the 83 artworks in the collection of industrialist and art collector Sir John Reid (1861-1933). The photogravure plates were executed by James Craig Annan, and the text accompanying them by Sir James Caw, director of the National Galleries of Scotland.
