8vo, pp. 31, [1] + engraved title-page; 48 + foldout architectural layout. Bound together in twentieth-century black cloth, spine lettered vertically in gilt. Some foxing throughout. Binding sunned to spine, a few marks to boards. Ink ownership inscription of W. Douglas Simpson, dated 1930, and modern bookplate to front endpapers.

Scarce printings of two slim works by the German historian Johannes Voigt (1786-1863), known first for his work on Pope Gregory VII, but later becoming a historian of Prussia and religious houses in Marienburg. The first is uncommon, with OCLC citing only six copies of the third edition of 'Das Ordenshaus', and the second outright rare - OCLC does not locate any copies of this second edition, just the first of 'Heinrich von Plauen'.
