A rare Minerva Press printing of Goldsmith's Essays. William Lane's Minerva Press is famous for its printings of Gothic and sentimental novels but like most publishers it also printed perennial sellers like this one. We have been able to trace only one other copy of this printing, at the University of Alberta - consulted by McLeod for her bibliography - with none located in COPAC or Worldcat. However, there was also an 1804 Minerva Press printing which is also held by Alberta (plus just the BL and UCLA) not listed in McLeod.
