4to, pp. viii, 274, [2, ads] + 55 engraved plates, most after Turner or Stothard. Original green textured roan by Hayday, spine divided by raised bands and lettered in gilt direct, boards with a central gilt urn stamp. Faint dampmark around the edges of of the plates. Edges rubbed, a few marks and scrapes, joints cracked, hinges relined.
Lavishly illustrated and luxuriously margined. The binding was presumably done for the publisher by Hayday, as a number of copies bear it, albeit some in green and some in burgundy.
