Notes

The primary work of the Byzantine grammarian Thomas Magister (c.1270-1346), a roughly alphabetical gathering of Attic Greek words and phrases to aid in composition, in a variorium edition by the physician and philologist Johann Stephen Bernard (1718-1793). Bernard based his work on the text established by Nikolaas Blanckaert (1624-1703), professor at Franeker.
