Notes

A pretty copy of the Eclogues of Virgil translated into Italian by Prospero Manara (1714-1800), first published 1764 to general acclaim; it was further reprinted until the 1830s. This particular edition is produced with the typical care and elegance of the Bodoni press, which also published Manara's translation of the Georgics in the same year.
