A handful of minor edge-tears or paper flaws, in one case touching a character in the duplicated first gathering. A couple of small nicks to vellum. Ownership inscription of Robert Bukely to pastedown, old stamp to title-page.
A seemingly unrecorded printing of Virgil from the Roman press of Pietro Aureli. Another edition with the same imprint had appeared the previous year but that contained the notes of de la Rue and Minellius, stretching to almost 600 pages; this smaller edition is the unadorned text. We have not been able to locate any references to this edition in Kallendorf, Worldcat, Library Hub, or the Italian SBN.
