12mo, pp. vi, 418. Contemporary sheep, spine divided by gilt rules, red morocco label. Poor-quality paper somewhat foxed, a small area of damage to blank corner of final leaves. Rubbed at extremities, some wear to foot of spine and front joint.

Notes

An early New Jersey printing - probably the first American, beating a Delaware printing of the same year - of the popular biography of Sarah Grubb (1756-1790), Quaker minister and educationalist.
