Description

2 vols., 18mo, pp. 213, [3, blank]; 201, [3, blank] + 2 additional engraved title-pages (one in each vol.) and 4 engraved plates. Contemporary red straight-grained morocco, boards bordered with a gilt rule, spines divided by a gilt rule, second compartment gilt-lettered direct, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. A little light browning and spotting. Spines darkened, joints and corners somewhat rubbed, a few old marks and scratches.

Notes

The ESTC entry is for an issue with all the plates dated Jan. 1793 - in this copy, one plate is dated Feb. 1794, while the others are a mix of Jan. and Feb. 1793.
