An attractive edition of this poem on hunting, with its companion burlesque, first published in 1735 and 1740 respectively. The printer, Robert Martin, was a journeyman for Baskerville and temporarily took over the press in the 1760s, while Baskerville focussed his attention on more lucrative pursuits; this was the first book he printed under his own name and the most successful at imitating the master's style.
