8vo, pp. [ii], ix-xiv, 507, [1] + photographic frontispiece. Illustrations within pagination. Textured limp black cloth, spine and front cover lettered and stamped in gilt, all edges gilt over dark blue. Rubbed and a touch worn, rear pastedown a little torn and hinge cracking.
