18mo, pp. xviii, 268 + additional engraved title-page and 2 engraved plates. Contemporary red straight-grained morocco, boards bordered with a gilt rule, spine divided by a gilt rule, second compartment gilt-lettered direct, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. A little light browning and spotting, closed tear to margin of one leaf. Spines darkened, joints and corners somewhat rubbed, a few old marks and scratches.
