Sir Thomas Murray, Lord Glendoick (c. 1633-1684/5) was granted a copyright for printing the acts of the Parliament of Scotland in 1681 and immediately set to producing his edition, copied directly from Skene's 1597 and extended to the year of printing. This substantial folio remained 'a bible of the Scottish legal profession into the nineteenth century' (ODNB), and a more managable 12mo was printed the following year. The annotator of this copy cites the Miscellanea Aulica of 1702 on the flyleaf, but the hand is not much later than that.
