‘Extra illustrated edition’, large 8vo, pp. xv, [i], 410, [2] + 57 plates. Further illustrations throughout text. Original quarter white cloth, maroon boards, gilt stamp to front board, spine divided by triple gilt rules, lettered in red, green endpapers, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Some foxing. Extremities a little bumped, spine toned, lettering rubbed.
