Notes

Three German plays translated by Benjamin Thompson (1775/6-1816), all later reissued in his six-volume 'The German Theatre.' This copy belonged to a Camilla Dufour, perhaps the singer and sometime actor of the same name, active on the London stage around 1800 and later the wife of chess player and teacher Jacob Henry Sarratt.
