8vo, pp. 945, [3, blank]. Text in Greek and Latin on facing pages. Contemporary vellum, spine lettered in ink. Some light spotting, an intermittent thin wormtrail in lower margin (a few times touching a character). Vellum a bit soiled, pastedowns lifted. An early short inscription to front pastedown.
A scarce but somewhat obscure edition of Sophocles in Greek with facing Latin translation. The title-page mentions no editor, there is no preface or dedication, and the text is printed entirely unadorned by notes or commentary. Worldcat locates only four copies outside Germany and Switzerland: two in Italy plus the BL & Oxford.
