We are thrilled to announce that as of 1 June our gallery space will host Typewronger, Edinburgh’s newest bookshop, offering new books and vintage typewriters. Tom Hodges, the man behind Typewronger, has a wealth of bookselling experience, having previously worked at Heywood Hill in London, Shakespeare and Company in Paris and Desperate Literature in Madrid. Tom launched Typewronger last year and has been doing pop-ups at the Leith Walk Police Box and St Margaret’s House.

Tom is bursting with ideas, energy, creativity and will no doubt be a welcome addition to the Edinburgh bookselling scene. Typewronger will regularly host a wide range of events and will offer a personalised book subscription service.

We feel that our two businesses will complement each other nicely and are excited to provide a space and platform for Typewronger to flourish.
